She told my son that romanian customs about my family visiting while her family is visiting is really not done. She said that they consider it rude to mix and mingle together. So while visiting, her family did outings, eating, and socialized separately. And so, my family had to do the same. Now, my son and daughter in law just had a baby. I was so excited st first, but became very hurt. I was told it would be rude for me to visit my granddaughter because my son’s mother in law will be visiting for 6 months. I’m in my 60s and would love to hold my nrw granddaughter in my arms. Tell me is this custom of not visiting at the same time as my son’s in laws true?
